BMFA Certificate Training

Power Site Training

Swindon Model Aero Club offers a comprehensive training programme from complete beginners to members who wish to obtain their ‘B’ certificate. The free tuition is given by a team of volunteer instructors.

Complete Beginners
The club has two fixed wing training models set up on a dual control transmitter system. (Buddy System). The member will have training in flying basic left and right hand circuits and landing approaches. This enables the flyer to learn the basics of flying in complete safety, before progressing as a novice and continuing their training with their own suitable training model. Please talk to the club instructors about suitable models for continuing training.
