Profile:
Flying with Swindon Model Aero Club for about 7 years. I have a preference for War Birds with a Republic P47 Thunderbolt, Spitfire mkII, Curtis P40 Warhawk and a WW1 RAF SE5a, as well as an aerobatic Extra 330L.
I am Service Manager for 3 dealerships in Swindon and find model flying a great stress reliever after a hard week. If you have the time to build your own model you get great satisfaction from seeing it completed and flying. If time is tight there are many Almost Ready To Fly models which can be detailed to make them stand apart. There are many different disciplines at the club from gliders to gas turbines so whether it be sport and aerobatic flying or calm evening flying, there is something for everyone and always help at hand from friendly club mates. |

Profile:
I have been a club member for 18 months having taken early retirement. I have recently passed my BMFA “A” certificate and I am busy training for my “B” certificate.
In taking this position on the committee, I am looking forward to the full support of all members to retain the high standard of flying and safety that is present at Wroughton |

Profile:
Having joined the club approximately three years ago, I have, after a lot of disasters and help from fellow members, got my A certificate in fixed wing and my A and B in thermal electric.
As for the future I hope to get my B certificate in fixed wing and become a B.M.F.A. approved instructor.
By joining the committee I hope to help with the ongoing success of S.M.A.C.
