Profile:
After retiring I joined SMAC in 2005 which was one of the best moves I ever made. I have enjoyed the club and the flying immensely and would recommend the hobby to all.
The club taught me to fly and other members encouraged me to build and fly scale and also move on to large models. This is a well run club and I am proud to be its President and I will be only too pleased to help the club prosper.

I have been a SMAC member since 1988 serving on the committee for many years, serving as the Chairman since 2002. My main ambition has always been the promotion of the club and the welfare of its members. This followed by an unhealthy interest in large models.

After taking early retirement, I decided to return to aero modelling after a break of 40 years. I have achieved A & B certificates and enjoy serving the club as a committee member.

Profile:
Originally joined the SMAC in 1948 at 12 years of age to fly at
Wroughton and serving on all of the committee positions first as
Junior Rep, and now dedicated to supporting all of the committee
where needed.
Special Interests: Construction of Jet Turbines,
and Flying Jet Model Aircraft and all aspects of model flying.
